PRESENTATION EXCELLENCE THOUGHT LEADERS!
Our team members educate, inspire and motivate audiences through their books, webinars, workshops, Keynote speeches, seminar appearances, etc. We highlight some of the current programs in our column to the right. This month, we’d like to tell you more about their role as thought leaders, by sharing with you information about two recent books by our members.
Andrea R. Nierenberg, our networking guru, recently published Million Dollar Networking: The Sure Way to Grow and Keep Your Business (Capitol Books 2005). A master at helping people build interpersonal skills, in this book she focuses on how to apply the universal rules of effective networking (e.g., "give before you receive") to establish & maintain business relationships. Indeed, her own networking skills have put her in the news recently: The Associated Press published an article in which Andrea offered advice to upcoming graduates looking for career moves.
Judith E. Glaser, our organizational anthropologist and advisor, followed-up her Creating WE (Platinum Books, 2005) (named one of the best business books of 2005 by Business Book Review), with a truly groundbreaking book on Leadership entitled The DNA of Leadership: Leverage Your Instincts to Communicate, Differentiate and Innovate (Platinum Books, 2006). Using her insights and case studies from companies like IBM and New Wave Entertainment, she helps managers understand how to shape their company’s generic code for success and the 7 vital leadership practices that can reshape an organization into a WE-centric culture.
