Align the Speech and the Speaker
One of the unique aspects of our presentation-training program involves focusing and aligning the speaker’s level of comfort of the content and presentation format, with their own style of personal dialogue. A great presentation is simply a conversation with a definite purpose. At some level, everyone is comfortable conversing with others; therefore, we tap into this natural condition to help people overcome their nervousness when making formal presentations.
Presenting a message you don’t understand and/or are not comfortable with is a prescription for disaster. You get nervous because you’re not focused on telling your audience what they need to know. You’re focused on "hiding" the discomfort, rather than projecting your voice or using eye contact to grab their attention. We help you overcome your fears, thereby enhancing the audience’s understanding and reaction, leading you to a successful presentation.
All our Presentation Excellence training programs focus on aligning all 4 presentation S’s - Substance, Structure, Style and the Speaker’s conversational skills. Feeling competent about the material generates confidence and allows the speaker to focus on building more powerful communication skills. This enables the speaker to develop rapport, exude trust with the audience, and get them to take the desired actions.
Follow our advice and it will lead to success. As a recent client recently wrote: "Big success - my short and sweet speech tonight....650 attendees...fabulous gathering...thx again for all your help."
