The president of this energy information company, who was the former VP marketing for McGraw-Hill Construction, retained Dr. Cahn as an executive coach to address "thought leadership" issues and consult on key staff, Board of Director and public presentations, as well as assist others within the organization

Six years ago, the CEO of this company engaged Presentation Excellence to train the top three people in his previous company to close more deals. A few years later, he profitably sold that company. Recently he started this new, exciting firm, and contacted us to help the President with a keynote presentation at a major conference to launch the firm. As a result of the meeting, the company refined its business strategy and Presentation Excellence was once again engaged to develop the branding messages, design the website and produce literature for a trade show appearance. We are now involved with improving the effectiveness of sales demonstrations.

Seeking to improve the retention rates of junior staff, Presentation Excellence launched a SuperMentoring program focusing on sustain corporate growth, with 10 teams of Mentors and Mentees. Since then, we've launched two additional cycles of the program, with additional goals (e.g., helping advance the career skills and the Mentors) as well. Presentation Excellence was also invited to develop and conduct a workshop on Cultural Sensitivity for senior executives, as the organization expands globally.
As we plan for the 4th Cycle of the SuperMentoring program, I want to thank you for the time and dedication you've invested to structure the program to meet our staff's work needs and expand the program to meet new challenges posted by ICSC's increasingly global focus.
Initially, the Mentoring program focused on training middle managers to provide career guidance to newer staff members to increase their ability to grow with the company. As the program has continued, you've helped us expand the program to provide executive development coaching for the Mentors. The feedback from the Mento rs and Mentees has been favorable, as both groups experience your creative efforts to enable each to get the most of mentoring and make a larger contribution to the growth of ICSC. As we see professional growth and development by both groups, it's obvious the program is succeeding.
Keep up the good work!
FM, ICSC

Seeking to improve the presentation skills of 20 trainers, this company engaged Presentation Excellence for its corporate training program, the client's comments tell the rest of the story.
"I interviewed many of the well known firms in the presentation industry to improve our trainers' presentation skills. All of the other firms had canned workshops and that is all they offered. Presentation Excellence realized the uniqueness of our needs and Jerry took the initiative to do the research required. He attend one of our programs to hear the presentation (and) observe how participants responded to our training. He then developed a customized format that clearly met our needs. He make a presentation to the group discussing what makes up a good presentation, then listened to, video-taped and critiqued each instructor presentation a portion of our training programs. All of Jerry's competitors, by the way, wanted our instructors to present their material, rather than the material that they were comfortable with, which in my mind, was a negative... In my opinion, the single most important thing that Jerry did was to learn our business. While working with our Instructors, he never talked down to them, recognizing and applauding the fact that they were the experts in their field." - Tom Harley

Tishman Construction
Initially, the company wanted to train executives to make more effective presentations, even though they've had skills training sessions. Each sales pitch was unique in terms of prospect needs and we were asked to prepare a sales team for the presentation they were making as one of the final 3 candidates. Focusing on why Tishman was the ideal candidates for the job, we helped develop the presentation and coach the team. By orchestrating the team to not only show the company superiority, but also demonstrate how these industry veterans think and work together, the RFP was triumphant.
MPG Group
This manufacturer was notified that to continue serving as a vendor for a customer, it needed to compete on a RFP against a much larger competitor who could afford to give away the products at a much lower price. Presentation Excellence was asked to coach the presenters on how to impress the customer on both its production capabilities out-of-the-box design capabilities. An interactive Flash presentation designed and used by the presenter3s was a result of their training, leaving the customers very impressed, thereby allowing the company to continue its partnership as a vendor.
